.. to be back in London enjoying views like this? One of the things I love about London is that wherever you are, there is a mix of new and old. In this photograph, the majestic St Paul's Cathedral, rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren following the Great Fire of London in 1666, stands tall behind one of London's newest arrivals - the Millennium Bridge. Opened in the year 2000 (hence the name!), it closed again after just 2 days because of a rather alarming wobble, and reopened in February 2002, wobble sorted!
